Difference between thinking and having thought. Thinking makes a difference.

We all have thoughts, but not all people think. Think about what I just said for a moment.

Having thoughts is mental activity, the mind has an average of 42 thoughts per minute, and most of the time people do not know what they are thinking about, they usually think about other people, things, places, or anything without a reason or as a result of some stimulus.

Thoughts are automatic, all the information that comes to us through the 5 senses activates thoughts, it does not require any effort, it is a constant flow that does not stop.

Suppose you see a big sign that says “win the lottery for a million euros”. You read it and you have a thought: “wouldn’t it be nice to win the lottery” and this initial thought activates a thought process and more and more thoughts start to come in that revolve around how fun and exciting it would be to win the lottery.

Thinking is another level, let’s say you see the same lottery sign, but this time, unlike letting yourself be carried away by what you see, you stop to think, how can you create a million euros in your life. What do you need to do to create that amount of money? You start thinking of ideas and ways to achieve it. You activate your intellectual faculties to find the solution.

In the first example, the sign activates a thought, and you entertain it in your mind, but you never stop to think that if you really want a million euros, you can have it if you think like.

If we observe, every time someone complains about something, that person is not thinking. When you start thinking, ideas and solutions start to appear. Stimulate your mind to think by asking the right questions.

Be aware of what you think
